AI calling with your approval: no one is phoned until you say yes.
FoxEra shows you the headcount, estimated time and price before a single call is made. You approve the script, confirm the list, and nothing happens until you give the go-ahead.
Why approval matters
The biggest concern business owners have about AI calling is losing control. What if it calls the wrong people? What if it says something you did not approve? What if it runs up a bill you were not expecting?
FoxEra is built around the opposite principle. Nothing happens automatically. Every campaign needs a confirmed number, an approved script, and your explicit go-ahead before the first call is dialled.
What you see before you approve
Before a campaign runs, FoxEra shows you a preview:
- Headcount — the exact number of leads that will be called.
- Estimated time — how long the campaign is expected to take.
- Price estimate — based on from 12p per connected minute, so you know the maximum cost before anything is dialled.
- The script — the exact words the AI agent will use, which you can edit before approving.
If anything looks wrong — too many leads, wrong script, higher cost than expected — you change it before approving. No calls go out until you say yes.
Approving through the dashboard or your AI assistant
You can approve a campaign directly in the FoxEra dashboard, or through an AI assistant like ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor connected via the MCP server or REST API.
When you use an assistant, the workflow is the same. Your assistant builds the campaign, shows you the preview (headcount, time, cost), and waits for your approval. It cannot start the campaign on its own — the approval step is enforced by FoxEra, not by the assistant.
This is especially useful if you want to manage campaigns from your phone while you are on site or in meetings. Your assistant does the preparation; you make the decision. See how to connect ChatGPT for the setup.
Stopping a campaign mid-way
If you change your mind after approving, you can stop a campaign while it is running. Calls that have not yet been made will not be dialled. You only pay for the connected minutes that have already happened.
This matters if you discover a problem with your list, want to change the script, or simply decide to pause. Control is not just about the start — it is about being able to stop at any point. Read more about this on the stopping a campaign page.
Every action is logged
Every call, every outcome, every transcript is logged against the campaign. If you want to know exactly what was said to a specific lead, you can read the transcript or listen to the recording. Nothing is hidden.
This logging is not just for your peace of mind — it is evidence of responsible calling. If anyone questions your outreach, you have a full record of what was said, when, and to whom. You can also listen to your AI calls to review quality.
FoxEra charges from 12p per connected minute with no subscription. New accounts start with £7 of free calling credit. Use the cost calculator to estimate a campaign before signing up.
Frequently asked questions
Can the AI call someone without my approval?
No. Every campaign needs your explicit approval before the first call is made. You see the headcount, cost estimate and script first, and nothing is dialled until you confirm.
Can I stop a campaign after it has started?
Yes. You can stop a running campaign at any time. Calls not yet made will not be dialled, and you only pay for the connected minutes already used.
Does my AI assistant need separate approval to start calls?
Your AI assistant can prepare a campaign, but the approval step is enforced by FoxEra. Whether you approve through the dashboard or through your assistant, the campaign cannot start without your confirmation.
How do I know what the AI said on each call?
Every call is recorded and transcribed. You can read the transcript, listen to the recording, and see the outcome logged against each lead in your campaign.
