Trust and transparency

Every action your AI assistant takes is logged — nothing is invisible.

When you connect ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant to FoxEra Calls, every lead added, campaign started and call made is recorded against your account. You can review transcripts, listen to recordings and revoke access at any time.

Why an audit log matters when an AI acts on your behalf

Letting an AI assistant manage outbound calls is a step most business owners think about carefully. The obvious concern is: what if it does something I did not ask for? What if it calls the wrong people, says the wrong thing, or runs up a bill I did not expect?

An audit log removes the guesswork. Instead of trusting that things went well, you can see exactly what happened — which leads were added, which campaign was started, which agent made the calls, and what was said on every single one. If something looks wrong, you can trace it back to the moment it happened.

This is not a premium feature or an add-on. It is built into every FoxEra account, whether you use the dashboard, the MCP server or REST API, or an AI assistant connected through either.

What gets logged when your assistant connects

Every interaction between your AI assistant and FoxEra is recorded. The log covers:

  • Leads added — each contact your assistant uploads, including the folder it was placed in and the timestamp.
  • Campaign previews — when your assistant asks for a headcount and cost estimate before calling.
  • Campaign approvals — the moment you confirmed the campaign should go ahead.
  • Calls made — every call placed by the AI calling agent (Cass, Alex or Andrea), with duration, outcome and a full transcript.
  • Recordings — audio recordings of each call, available for playback.
  • Pitch changes — any edits to the calling script your assistant submitted on your behalf.

Nothing your assistant does through FoxEra happens silently. If it added a lead, there is a record. If it started a campaign, there is a record. If the AI agent spoke to someone, there is a transcript and a recording.

How to review your audit trail

You can review what happened in two ways. The FoxEra dashboard shows your call history, transcripts and campaign results in a straightforward list. You can filter by date, folder, calling agent or outcome.

If you prefer to stay inside your AI assistant, you can ask it to fetch the results for you. A connected assistant can retrieve call outcomes, read transcripts and summarise what happened — all through the same connector it used to set up the campaign.

For more detail, the developer guide explains how to pull call data programmatically through the REST API, which is useful if you want to push results into a CRM or a reporting tool.

Revoking access and staying in control

You can disconnect your AI assistant at any time. Revoking access is immediate — the assistant loses the ability to add leads, start campaigns or read your call data the moment you remove it.

Even while connected, the assistant cannot do everything on its own. A campaign needs your confirmed number and a separate approval before anyone is phoned. The assistant can prepare everything, but the final go-ahead is always yours.

This means the audit log is a safety net you can check, not a lock on a door you cannot open. You stay in control of who gets called and when, and the log proves it after the fact.

Using call transcripts to improve your follow-up

The audit log is not just about trust — it is a working tool. Every call transcript tells you what the prospect said, whether they showed interest, asked for a callback, or declined. You can read through the transcripts yourself or ask your AI assistant to summarise the warm leads.

Over time, the log builds a picture of which industries respond best, which times of day get more answers, and which version of your pitch lands. That data is yours, stored against your account, and available whenever you need it.

If you want to set up a structured follow-up sequence for leads who said to try again later, the transcript gives you the context to write a follow-up that references the original conversation.

Getting started with a transparent AI calling setup

Connect your AI assistant to FoxEra Calls at foxera.co.uk/developers. Upload a small list of leads, run a test campaign with your calling script, and review the audit log to see every step the system recorded.

Calls cost from 12p per connected minute with no subscription. New accounts start with £7 of free calling credit, which is enough to run a short test and see the full audit trail in action.

If you are comparing AI calling against manual calling, the audit log is one of the advantages: every call is documented automatically, whereas a human caller's notes depend on how diligent they are.
