Why run your calling from Claude
If Claude is already where you research, draft and plan, your outbound calling can live there too. Once FoxEra Calls is connected as a custom connector, you can tell Claude to add leads, choose an AI calling agent, preview the campaign cost, approve it, and report back with transcripts and outcomes, all inside the same chat you are working in.
Claude handles the instructions. FoxEra Calls handles the dialling, the recording and the logging. You keep the final say on who gets called and when.
What you need before you start
A Claude account on the Pro or Team plan. Custom connectors are available under Customize in the Claude sidebar. You also need a FoxEra Calls account, which takes under a minute to create. New accounts come with £7 of free calling credit and pay-as-you-go pricing from the start, with no subscription to cancel.
No developer, no code editor and no command line. If you use Claude Code or Claude Desktop instead, the same URL works as a remote MCP server. The developer guide covers both routes.
How to add FoxEra Calls as a connector
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste this URL: https://app.foxera.co.uk/mcp
- Claude redirects you to FoxEra Calls. Sign in with your FoxEra account or create one on the spot.
- Press Allow. Claude can now see your calling workspace and nothing else.
That is the full setup. You can now type instructions about your calling in any Claude conversation, and it will act on them through FoxEra Calls.
Running a campaign from a Claude chat
Once the connector is live, a typical workflow looks like this:
- Ask Claude to add a list of leads, either by pasting them or describing a file to upload.
- Tell it which AI calling agent to use: Cass, Alex or Andrea. Each has a different voice and style.
- Ask Claude to preview the campaign. It will show you how many people will be called, the calling window and the estimated cost.
- If you are happy, tell Claude to approve. FoxEra Calls then dials your list during the hours you set.
- After the calls, ask Claude for a report. It can pull outcomes, transcripts, recordings and total cost.
You can also ask Claude to edit the calling script, set calling hours, stop a live campaign, or get a link to top up your credit.
Your approval is always required
FoxEra Calls will not phone anyone until two conditions are met. The exact number of people to call must be confirmed, and a separate approval must be completed. Claude is told to show you these numbers and wait for your yes.
Every action is logged inside your FoxEra workspace, visible alongside call transcripts and recordings. You can revoke the connector at any time, and changing your password disconnects all connected assistants immediately. Read more about how FoxEra Calls works.

Frequently asked questions
Can Claude actually make phone calls?
Not directly. When connected to FoxEra Calls, Claude sends instructions to FoxEra's AI calling agents (Cass, Alex or Andrea), who make the actual calls. Claude then reads back the outcomes, transcripts and recordings.
Does this work with Claude Code and Claude Desktop?
Yes. The same URL works as a remote MCP server in Claude Code and Claude Desktop. The developer guide explains the setup for each.
Can Claude spend my calling credit without asking me?
No. FoxEra Calls requires you to confirm the exact number of people and approve the campaign separately before any call is placed. Claude cannot bypass this step.
