How to connect Cursor to FoxEra Calls
- Open your Cursor MCP settings (Settings, then MCP, or edit
.cursor/mcp.jsonin your project root) and add a remote server with the URL https://app.foxera.co.uk/mcp. - When Cursor calls the server for the first time, an OAuth consent screen opens in your browser. Sign in with your FoxEra Calls account (or create one for free) and press Allow.
- Cursor now lists the FoxEra tools. Ask it to check your account status to confirm the connection is live.
That is the entire setup. No packages to install, no API key to paste, no local server to keep running.
What Cursor can do once connected
Every action you can take in the FoxEra Calls dashboard is available as an MCP tool. The actions a founder uses most often are:
- Upload a list of leads (names, phone numbers, company) from a spreadsheet or CSV
- Choose which AI calling agent to use and review or edit the pitch
- Preview the campaign: see exactly how many people will be called, the estimated duration and the price
- Approve the campaign and schedule it for a specific time and day

The safety gate: headcount confirmed, then approved
Cursor will not silently start phoning people on your behalf. Before any campaign runs, the server requires two explicit steps: the assistant confirms the exact number of people who will be called and asks for your approval. Only after your yes does the campaign go live.
This gate is enforced server-side, not by the model or the prompt. Your OAuth token acts only inside your own workspace, every action is logged, and you can revoke access at any time by changing your password. The same protection applies regardless of which model is driving Cursor.
A sample session in Cursor
Here is what a realistic session looks like, typed into Cursor chat:
- You: “Add these 25 accountancy firms from leads.csv and have Cass call them tomorrow at 10.”
- Cursor: uploads the leads, selects Cass, and shows you a preview with the headcount and estimated cost.
- You: “Looks good, go ahead.”
- Cursor: approves and schedules the campaign for 10:00 the next morning.
- Next day, you: “How did the campaign go?”
- Cursor: pulls the outcomes: calls answered, interest flagged, call-backs requested, with links to each transcript.

Cursor, REST API or both
The MCP server is the simplest path if Cursor is your main tool. If you also build automations in code, the same account works with a bearer API key (fxk_...) against the REST API, documented with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec. Both routes share the same workspace, same leads, same campaigns and same approval gate.
