What connecting your assistant means
Your AI assistant — ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or whichever you use — can already help you research prospects, draft emails and organise your day. Connecting it to FoxEra Calls adds one more capability: managing outbound phone campaigns.
Once connected, your assistant can upload lead lists, choose a calling agent (Cass, Alex or Andrea), preview the cost of a campaign, start it after you approve, and read the transcripts when calls are done. It does this through FoxEra's MCP server — a secure connection that lets your assistant talk to the calling platform without you switching between apps.
Step one: open your assistant's connector settings
Every AI assistant that supports MCP or custom connectors has a settings page where you add new connections. The exact location depends on which assistant you use:
- ChatGPT — open Settings, then look for Connectors or Custom GPTs. See our ChatGPT walkthrough for step-by-step screenshots.
- Claude — open the Integrations or MCP settings panel and add a new server.
- Cursor — open Settings, then MCP Servers, and add a new entry.
If your assistant supports custom connectors, remote MCP servers, or tool integrations, the process will be similar. You are looking for the place where you paste a URL and authorise a new service.
Step two: paste the FoxEra MCP URL and authorise
Paste the following URL into the connector field:
https://app.foxera.co.uk/mcp
Press Allow, Connect, or Authorise — the label varies by assistant. Your assistant will confirm the connection is active. If you do not have a FoxEra account yet, you will be prompted to create one during the authorisation step.
The connection is free. There is no setup fee, no subscription, and no charge for the MCP link itself. You pay only for outbound calling when you run a campaign — from 12p per connected minute.
Step three: test the connection
Ask your assistant something simple to confirm it is working:
- "Check my FoxEra account status" — your assistant should return your account balance and calling credit.
- "How much credit do I have?" — confirms it can read your account data.
- "List my campaigns" — if you have run campaigns before, they should appear.

What you can do once connected
With the connection live, your assistant becomes the interface to your outbound calling. Here is what you can ask it to do:
- Add leads — "upload this list of 50 restaurants in Manchester to a new campaign".
- Choose a calling agent — "use Cass for this campaign".
- Preview the cost — your assistant estimates the total cost before anything happens.
- Start the campaign — only after you review the preview and say yes. Nobody is phoned without your explicit approval.
- Read transcripts — "show me the results from today's calls" returns the transcript and outcome for each call.
