How we review every AI call
A good demo proves little. Real calls are where things go wrong, so every answered outbound call gets checked, not a sample.

What happens after every answered call
About a minute after an answered outbound call ends, FoxEra reviews it on its own servers. The review listens to the recording when it is ready and reads the transcript; if the recording is not ready within 10 minutes, it reviews the transcript alone. Nobody has to press anything, and the review is not billed separately.
What each call gets
| Check | What it means |
|---|---|
| A score out of 30 | Six parts scored 0 to 5: personalisation, the value line, the question, objection handling, the close, and delivery |
| Where the call died | The opening, the value line, the question, the close, or it reached the close |
| The opener used | So openings can be compared by how often they get past the first sentence |
| Agent silences | The longest silence when it was the agent’s turn, measured from the audio; anything over 2 seconds is listed |
| Talking over people | Whether the agent spoke over the person |
| Banned phrases | Lines we have learned put people off, such as asking for “twenty seconds” of their time |
Why we built it
A good demo does not prove much. Real calls are where an agent goes quiet for three seconds, repeats its introduction or asks permission when the person already said yes. You only find those by listening to every call, and nobody has time to listen to every call. So the software does, and it tells us and you what went wrong.
Where you see it
Call quality in the menu shows how many of today’s answered calls have been reviewed, the average score, where calls died, the problems found, and every call with its recording. You can also ask the chat: “how did today’s calls go?” or “which opener works best?”.
What it does not do
- Scores cannot be edited by hand: the review is the review.
- It does not play recordings in the chat; it gives you the call reference to open.
- It covers answered outbound calls. Receptionist calls have their own reports.
An example review
Made up for illustration, not a real call.
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Score | 19 / 30 |
| Where it died | The close: the person was interested but no next step was agreed |
| Longest agent silence | 2.8 seconds, after the person asked about price |
| Talk-over | Once, during the person’s first answer |
| Banned phrases | None |
What changes because of it
Reviews are compared across calls, so patterns show up: an opening that loses most people in the first sentence, a pause that always comes after the same question. The four openings our agent Cass uses are ranked by how often each one gets past the first line and reaches the close, and the weak ones get rewritten. That is how a calling agent improves: from evidence in real calls, not from a better demo.
